What is the red seal or plug in my lubricant bottle?
The red seal is in the lubricant bottles is what seals the cap and the bottle together. It is to prevent lubricant from leaking out if the bottle lays on its side. Do not remove this seal. Simply remove the cap, poke a hole in the seal and screw the cap back on. If the twist top is fully closed and the red seal is intact lubricant will not leak out.

If I place an order with 2 day shipping when will I get it?
Upgrading to 2 day shipping does not mean you will have your order in 2 days. It means FedEx will deliver your order in 2 days after it has been processed and picked up.

Your order will be sent to the shipping department for processing the following business day from when it was placed. FedEx does not include the day of pickup as a shipping day.

Orders placed on a Friday will not start processing until Monday (pending holidays).

Are your gun lubricants water based?
No. This is a common mistake. Although all of our gun cleaners are water based our gun lubricants are not water based.

What lubricant should I use for long term storage?
The EWL30 is the best lubricant for long term storage. It is a thicker lubricant and will stay wet longer than the EWL and Gun Lube. This benefit helps provide greater protection to guns during long term storage. We recommend you inspect all stored guns at least once a year however, relubricating may not be needed.

Is Gun Lube water based?
No, none of our lubricants are water based. Only our cleaners are water based.

Can Carbon Killer be used in ultrasonic cleaners?
No. Carbon Killer is too aggressive and should never be used in ultrasonic cleaners. We recommend using Ultra-Clean.

Can 725 Gun Cleaner be used in ultrasonic cleaners?
Yes. In fact we recommend that you use it in all parts washers and ultrasonic cleaners.

Are Slip 2000 products compatible with the plastic used in guns such as Glock and Kel-tec.
All our Slip 2000 lubricants are 100% compatible and the 725 Gun Cleaner is safe to use.

We do not recommend extended soaking of any plastic parts in Carbon Killer or Gas Piston Parts / Choke Tube Cleaner as they are designed to remove plastic fouling from steel.

Are your lubricants safe to use on polymers?
Yes. All of our lubricants are 100% safe to use on polymers and will not harm them at all.
