Sure-fire tip of the year !!!

S-2000 Choke cleaner is the best. Want the super best, use s-2000 and then use the size brush one up from the gauge of the gun. Cleaning a 20 ga gun - use a 12 ga brush. Cleaning a 12 ga gun, use a 10 ga brush. It works like the best ever !!!!!

What happens with frequent use

While I have used this product over years about every third time I have completed 100 shot or more per outing the best is that even with that frequency and using Viper Boresnakes the fouling at the receiver end of the choke stubes becomes easier to remove. The choke tube metal appears to be more resistant to the accumulation.
I would like to know what the pH of the solution is as Muller chokes say not to use any acidic cleaners.

Good Stuff

I've always been sold on another brand in and aerosol can. But this stuff walks all over it. With the other stuff (don't know if I can mention the name) After spraying and sitting few moins the plastic peeled right off. But then I would have to go back with a curved pick and scratch the hareder stuff loose. With this, I run the wire brush throught it several times. The I get some patches till the patch comes out clean, and it is brand new shinny. So now I've orderd a much bigger bottles. The CON is, you loose a lot of product that stick to the choke and now does not cove the entire extened chokes., The other is, and not a deal breaker, the wire handle they gice you does not work on straight tubes to remove without getting your fingers or using needle nose pliers. Highly reccommended and I've told the guys at the range about. I hope it works this good when I clen my suppressor and wont need a Sonic cleaner machine.

Cleaning ports

Been using the choke tube cleaner for years and love it, but I have struggled with cleaning the porting and ribs on my shotgun barrel. I tried pouring the choke tube cleaner in a bud vase, inverted the barrels and left them for 15 minutes. Removed, soft brushed and rinsed and they are absolutely clean effortlessly!!! Too bad it’s not sold in bottles with larger mouths to accommodate those nasty ports!
