Completely immerse all metal parts in a stainless steel parts tray or other safe container filled with carbon killer. Let the parts soak for no more than 15 minutes at a time. remove the parts and wipe or rinse them clean. Notice how the carbon instantly comes off on your hand before you even begin to wipe it clean. Extremely nasty and neglected parts may require some brushing or rubbing with a Scotch Bright type pad.

After your parts have been wiped or rinsed clean, make sure to re-lubricate with a Slip 2000 Lubricant. This will displace any moisture and prevent any corrosion. It will also prevent carbon from building up and reduce your next cleanup time.

Carbon Killer is for cleaning internal metal gun parts with baked on carbon by soaking them. It is an aggressive cleaner and should not be used to clean the outside of your gun. It can damage and even remove some finishes.
